I have always fostered a life-long love of animals, and initially decided to pursue a career as a veterinarian when I began working at a local vet clinic in high school. I grew up north of Dallas in Aubrey, TX – also known as the “Horse Capital of Texas”. Despite being surrounded by the equine industry growing up, I found myself being drawn to small animal medicine. I also truly loved the balance of caring for people’s beloved family pets and building relationships with clients!

For my undergraduate career, I studied at the University of North Texas – go Mean Green! My time at UNT was extremely rewarding, where I graduated Cum Laude with a major in biology and minor in chemistry. While I was in undergrad, I worked as a veterinary technician in a small animal emergency practice, and grew to love the fast-paced nature of emergency medicine. In 2019, I was accepted to Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and graduated Cum Laude in 2023. While I was in veterinary school, I took a special interest in soft-tissue surgery, preventative medicine, emergency medicine, cardiology, and dermatology. I believe strongly in preserving the human-animal bond, and that includes your pet’s bond with their veterinary team, as well! I am happy to practice Fear-Free medicine, and to provide high quality care to my patients. It’s an honor getting to do something I love for a living!
