Born just down the road in Temple, Texas.  I am a Texan first, but I actually grew up across the world in Southern India. Living overseas for seventeen years has been an incredible and humbling experience. Growing up, having been exposed to two different cultures has made me appreciative, tolerant, hard-working, disciplined, and honest. I have learned more than I could ever imagine. Most importantly, it was my time in India as a young girl that built my love and desire to become a Veterinarian. I made a promise at seven that I would protect all animals.  As an adult, I am living the promise to care and treat the wonderful creatures that bring us abundant joy and never waver in their unconditional love for us. I have fulfilled that lifelong dream, and am thankful every day that I get to practice it!

My journey to vet school followed a very interesting path. I was a professional tennis player for the majority of my life, knowing the entire time that being a Veterinarian was my end goal when my career was complete. I attended Texas Christian University on an athletic scholarship where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Throughout this time I worked in a Veterinary clinic as a kennel assistant working my way up to a technician all through school starting in 2009. I am a proud alum of Midwestern University School of Veterinary Medicine. I graduated from the Phi Zeta honor society with my DVM. In 2019 I moved back to Fort Worth to begin my career as a Veterinarian.

It is extremely important to me to not only stay on top of the ever evolving world of veterinary medicine but to also be the best doctor I can be. The relationships I develop with my clients and patients are the reasons I love this profession. The trust that you put in me to take care of your family member is essential and means the world to me. As general practitioners, we take pride in having well rounded knowledge, but my special interests include preventative medicine, nutrition, internal medicine, and feline medicine. I strive to lead in practice with empathy and compassion. Knowing that Summer Creek Animal Clinic was Fear Free felt like I was destined to be here.

I am blessed to have a wonderful husband, who is very supportive of my chosen career, a sweet baby boy, and our array of animals. I am so grateful I get to do what I love!
